A Little Gossyp Never Hurt Anyone

Socialtik normally stays away from gossip, but this Gossyp, we couldn’t resist sharing.

Gossyp: two vocally talented young ladies from Long Island, NY who have been talked about from a young age in regards to their vocal flair. Sisters, Amina (20) and Adina (18), started out singing the theme song from Sesame Street to dropping their very own songs like “Sexy Super Freak” and “Gossyp On Ya Lips.”

“We have been planted as seeds and we are still young buds in bloom and it will take time as we grow to become full flowers. With the right amount of sunlight and water we will blossom and pollinate our music all over the world.”

GossypGossyp is enthused by legendary musical greats such as Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Grace Jones, Madonna and Prince. TheirNative American, African American, Puerto Rican and Jewish cultures have influenced their style and their music is a true reflection.

The unique sound of Gossyp is not one that you would forget. The combination of house, R&B, trance, funk and pop is so versatile and eclectic that  there is no doubt why their music wont receive airplay on multiple radio stations.

Dropping their first album, “Sylence and Noyse” in Spring 2010, Gossyp has a lot on their plate. “We are currently working on our E.P. as well as the launch of our amazing website,! Also, we are developing our Gossyp clothing and paraphernalia line.”

In this digital decathlon, where is everyone is trying to reach the masses first, “Social media enables us to be much more tangible and intimate with our fans,” says Gossyp.  “It is the means which we communicate the most with the world and people who are interested in some Daily Gossyp (wink wink).”

gossyp1Although the streets remain ‘Gossyp’ing, this dynamic duo is always striving to reach the next level by bettering themselves as artists and well rounded individuals.  “We better ourselves by listening to different genres of music that help us broaden our horizons as artists.
