The lovely actress and humanitarian, Angelina Jolie, portrays natural beauty in the new Louis Vuitton ‘Core Values’ campaign. In the photo shoot that took place in Cambodia’s Siem Reap province, Jolie looks stunning as she poses barefoot, in her own clothes and while holding her own classic monogrammed Alto bag. Louis Vuitton’s vice president, Pietro Beccari, told Women’s Wear Daily, “People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation.”
Louis Vuitton is known for their high fashion advertisements and this “real life” campaign is not typical in the fashion industry. According to Limelife.com, “The ad is part of Louis Vuitton’s “Core Values” campaign, which aims to celebrate the brand’s classic pieces in real situations and to focus on the art of travel. Other celebrities who have starred in the fashion house’s campaign include Keith Richards, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Bono.”
The monogrammed Alto bag, which is six years old, is not sold in stores now, but Louis Vuitton is considering re-editing and releasing the bag again in the future. Angelina donated all of the money she received from this campaign to charity.
