Standards, standards, standards! So many of us have them.
It is extremely important to know what characteristics you are looking for in a male or female companion in order for them to be considered dating material. Some of us have outlandish standards and preferences in regards to the relationship spectrum, but to each their own.

Yes, I’m as single as a dollar bill, but I know that lowering my standards will only bring me down to a 50 cent piece and I’m good on change. Educated young men and women have to make wise decisions as to who they choose to share their time with. We’re educated for a reason!
After seeing Chili– a successful, beautiful, black woman– go on a quest for a man that met her standards and shared her desires, it let me know that there is nothing wrong with making sure a guy meets a few prerequisites before he can sign up for the class.
Demaris 101 is definitely not a bird course and I don’t hand out easy A’s. I’ve had to go through my fair share of disappointments in the dating world to learn that a woman should never lower her standards. It’s okay to make a few adjustments to the list, but always stick to it.
