One of my favorite poems of all time is the very popular, “Our Deepest Fear,” from Marianne Williamson’s “A Return to Love.” 

The most profound stanzas read:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?”

These four sentences are so poignant.  This statement alone expresses the thoughts and opinions that most of us dare not attempt to say aloud.

Oftentimes in life, we fail to live up to our true potential.  As a result, we miss the purpose and reason for being put on this earth and mill around merely existing and taking up space as opposed to truly living.

Most times, we do not even begin to scratch the surface of our greatness.  This is because we refuse to acknowledge that huge elephant in the room or because we are simply afraid…

Afraid of the unknown, afraid to win, afraid to fail and afraid of what we cannot control. Or could it be that what truly frightens us is the possibility of what we could actually achieve?

The funny thing about success is, YOU give this word its power and its attributes according to your thoughts and desires.

Really revel in that… YOU have the power to design the definition of not only a word, but a phrase that is so innate to the human struggle that it defines both our triumphs as well as our failures.

Success is what you decide it should be and you are simply who and what you say you are.  Period.

You were created in the image of the Most Powerful, Most High, Most Fly God of all creation and because of that you are double refined.

You are in control of your feelings and emotions.  You have the power to control all that is set before you.  Therefore, walk with the confidence and know that you are a force to be reckoned with.

Everything you need is inside of you.  Embrace it.
