It's a funny thought I got to this website post via a google search about vision boards in the first place, lol, but I'm glad I did.

Vision boards, or what I've also heard called "Treasure Maps" are a great idea for one who is striving for anything more. Vison boards motivate progression. The everyday pressures we face today though, in addition to the lack-of-time we constantly we feel, it's easy to unintentionally postpone our ultimate goal, or focus.

So it's all about progression. No one is trying to sugar coat anything. You take notice of the good and take notice of the bad. HowEVer, the energy and time we put forth should only be spent on the good and the positive. It's all about optimism and trusting in the next day.

LoL, on a different note, if you happen to read this sometime near today, March 13, 1012, please feel free to email me. I think I saw you are in the state of CA and because your vision board included mutual funds, stocks AND a retirement plan, etc., I would LOVE to let you know of SAFE, and GUARANTEED retirement alternatives that don't suffer the volatility of those MFs.

Anyway, best of luck and loved the post

Two great things I love about this: Step 4 - realistic timeline eliminates the magic wand aspect many complain about and Step 5 - sooooo totally agree that a shared intention, visually and verbally, creates a superhighway to making it happen.

Great article! Thanks for the inspiration!
