I believe it was 2000, when I stopped believing in New Year’s Resolutions. Remember everyone was scared out of their minds because of Y2K and we all thought that the world was about to end and the stock markets would crash.
But at twelve am NOTHING happened…
Life went on and the clocks did not stop.
I think the best inspiration I can give you is the truth.
In life, you should always be able to put things into perspective even if it hurts.
Whenever your inner thoughts get to be too much write down everything you are feeling, the good the bad and the ugly, just write until you cannot write anymore.
I have done just that:
Being twenty-two and fresh out of college… I’m a mess
Lacking self confidence
Fearful of what’s next
Working to live or living to work
I’m so ambitious
But direction fails me
My minds heavy
My minds too heavy
Finding forever always ails me
Feeling alone in this world
Because I isolate myself
Only child
Exile is all I know
Lonely…
After you have done this, enter into 2011 and LET IT ALL become a stepping stone towards PROGRESSION.
Every moment we get to live is a blessing to start a NEW!
Here’s to what’s NEXT!
Embrace it and MOVE ON!
