My friends and I are always talking about having a roster, starting line up or more than one option in the dating game.

I sometimes  scroll through the contacts in my phone only to sigh at the two or three options I have to choose from. I’m not saying I need the Lakers’ roster in my phonebook, but a few to pull off the bench would be nice.

The myth that women aren’t supposed to or don’t usually have as many options as men is just that… a myth. What’s the point of us putting all of our eggs in one basket when the handle could break at any moment? Just as men  sometimes like to choose from various women, at times, we enjoy a nice selection of men as well.

According to CanDoBetter.com, a social networking and dating website that lets the world decide if your relationship is a perfect match, women are keeping their options open and letting it be known.

To acknowledge this growing trend, CanDoBetter.com compared over 8000 men and women profiles to see what percentage uploaded more than one picture of possible dating partners. The results showed women uploaded an average of three pictures compared to men only uploading an average of one picture.

Can I get a “How you doin’?” Being that the public votes on possible matches for members, women seem to be more comfortable sharing their options with the world.

Other points of interest:

–92% of men discuss their material objects online

–75% of women discuss their personality online

–26% of all votes found the couples were perfect matches

–58% of all votes say she can do better

I would definitely be turned off by the male members talking about their material possessions. Guys mess up when they think that women are more intrigued by their Beamer, Benz, or Bentley compared to their individuality.

Personally, I think that women are better at genuinely attracting guys.

With 68% of members being between the ages of 18 and 35, the main audience is made up of Gen-Y men and women; the generation that is making a change today for tomorrow.

I know I’m not alone when I say I’m tired of the guys can, but girls can’t epidemic.

Women can bring home the bacon and cook it, draft the team and coach the players, and have your cake and eat theirs too!
