As each day comes and goes, we start to realize that some things may not go as planned. Even if the whole week is planned from beginning to end, there will always be some type of distraction.
The obstacles that we endure while traveling this journey called life, are a series of distractions.
Taking a left one day might have ended successfully, merging right today looks promising, but going straight tomorrow may not have a light at the end of the road. We have to always be aware of the unexpected, there is always a crack in the road that can somehow cause us to trip.
We may not always fall, but a simple stumble causes setbacks also. A bump in the road always has an alternate route or a way to get over it; it is in our decision as pioneers to figure out the detour.
Fill your survival kit with courage, motivation, support, love for yourself and others, pens, papers and a mirror to see your own smile. Our steps are already ordered, but it is up to us to make it through the valleys of distractions, the rivers of disappointment to make it to the mountains of triumph. Although some days may be harder than others, we are destined to make it through them all.
