“There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.” – Napoleon Hill
Have you ever felt like the plans you set for your life were not playing out as expected? If you can answer yes, you’re probably like a lot of other young people.
Often times, we have this amazing goal we set up in our minds, but then life happens and before we know it, we look up and wonder where the hell we are. With many of the young professionals I’ve encountered, I’ve noticed some parallels that I can’t help but address. Most of the people I speak to are not happy. Either they are not working in the field they want to be in, not getting the salary they desire or not living in the city that would be most beneficial to their growth.
Despite how trivial the above may seem, these can be emotionally crippling aspects of our lives. But by creating some sound goals, a few fool proof strategies and the necessary tactics for attainment; you can eventually change your situation. I’ve been there before and I’ve realized that simply having faith is not enough. I’ve learned to treat my life like a business, because in some respect, I believe it is. With most of my goals, I follow the same steps – I research, analyze, plan, build and then repeat.
Once you are able to develop your strength and determination, you will realize that the box that you are currently dwelling in doesn’t have the capacity to hold you back.
Think about it. Then slowly, but surely break out.
