Hip Hop’s two greatest artist and businessmen, Jay-Z and Pharrell, are teaming up in a partnership for Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club clothing line. It was first reported by GQ Magazine that Jay-Z bought the clothing line, but Jay-Z took to twitter and tweeted
So what does this mean for BBC?
Billionaire Boys Club will be under the same umbrella as Rocawear, but will not be sold in department stores like Macy’s. BBC will continue to keep it’s exclusivity and will stay at the same price point. Pharrell will stay the face and creative mind of the clothing line, but now BBC will have Jay-Z’s business savvy as a catalyst for growth and anything that has Jay-Z behind it, turns into platinum.
So now hip hop fans and skateboarders have something big to look forward to and hopefully BBC will continue to be a huge fashion line, if not larger.
