I had the distinct pleasure of waking up this morning and reading Kanye West speak the truth on Twitter.
Known for always speaking his mind, he touched topics such as the media dehumanizing him and the MTV fiasco with him interrupting Taylor Swift. I must say that although his actions on the awards raised eyebrows, including mine, I never viewed Kanye negatively.
Many people wrote him off at that very moment as we watched the beginning of a media massacre. Let’s be honest, how many people were aware of who Taylor Swift was before the Kanye stunt?
I knew of her, but her popularity overall, increased after that. She completely benefited from it, minus the humiliation. I sympathized with her, and Kanye as well.
I’m not trying to make excuses for him but it didn’t take long for people to overlook his talent and focus on his mistake. Looking at his tweets from this morning, it seems he has had a few slices of humble pie.

With the 2010 VMA’s a week away it seems as though Kanye is about a year late with his apology. However, isn’t it always better late than never?
