Now the next big collaboration that has the fashion world so excited is Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s. Karl Lagerfeld has to be the most well-known man in the fashion industry, being the creative director of the iconic fashion line Chanel.
The pictures for this capsule collection will appear in this August Issue of Vogue. The price point for this collection will be from $50-$170 and will feature dresses, airy tops, tees, jackets, leggings and modern tweed. Lagerfeld will also stick to his signature “Lagerfeld” looks from the structure tuxedo jackets and dramatic high collars.
Jeff Gennette, Macy’s chief merchandising director, says that “Nabbing Lagerfeld — perhaps best-known as creative director of Chanel — marks a “very fashionable milestone” that “adds a new dimension of attainable luxury for our customers.”
The collection will hit 235 Macy’s stores and online August 31st so calendars marked because this collection will go fast.
