After his dominating performance against the heavily favored Brock Lesnar, Cain Velasquez is all the rage in the UFC. He also made history by becoming the first ever Mexican heavyweight champion in MMA history, opening doors in the Latino market for the rapidly growing UFC. The new champ displayed great ability and composure in the octagon. Here are 5 reasons why challengers should beware of Cain:

STRENGTH: He’s hard to bring down and keep down (just ask Brock Lesnar). Cain has the wrestling skills to counter and get back on his feet where he is best at.
