Alex Williams

Talented songwriter, worship leader and Christian artist Alex Williams has stepped from behind the pen and church to establish himself as a solo artist with his debut single “Everybody Needs a Hero”.

Alex WilliamsThis song can be considered a breath of fresh air in the Christian music arena. ”Everybody Needs a Hero” takes its listeners on a climatic ride through the highs and lows of searching for a Hero. It’s not only a lyrical journey but a musical one as well. As the electric guitar and simple piano plays you will feel like are weaving through skyscrapers in the arms of a superhero, the distinct drum presentation gives you a sense of panic and anticipation as you burst through the clouds to hear  the airy winds and strings makes you feel that you are safe from your problems.

Williams’ raspy voice and comfortable tone is different than many other Christian artists in the industry. The message of the song will make it easy for everyone to sing along and get your daily dose of inspiration.

Williams is Known for his writing work with gospel industry’s proclaimed Prince of Praise Byron Cage, contributing two songs, “Invitation” and “Rain on Me” on Cage’s highly acclaimed CD “An Invitation to worship.” Williams explores a new sound that will cross all barriers, while never losing his message of introducing Christ to a wide audience.
