Who says you have to choose labels or love? Some create a life where both are passionately incorporated. The wardrobe stylists and hair and make-up artists on “House of Glam” show us how it’s done.
Fierce, Fashion Forward and Fresh all describe this remarkable glamour team. Brandi is the visionary and CEO for the B Lynn Group which she founded in 2000 and it also houses the creative junkies: Amoy, Atiba, Crystal, Groovey, Mike, and the new addition to the family, Michiko.
The ‘House of Glam’ squad has collectively worked with leading fashion icons including Naomi Campbell, Jay-Z, Monica and Mary J. Blige – just to name a few.
One of the fan favs seem to be Brooklyn born and raised, Atiba. He is fairly new to the agency in comparison to the others, but his styling list goes on for over a decade that he’s been in the industry making major connections in the celebrity circuit.
With his bold personality being displayed both on and off the set, Atiba works to continuously have his name ring bells as a stylist for the House of Glam.
In contrast to Atiba’s smooth transition in to the house, Michiko has been facing some difficulties making connections with the team. The fact that she considers herself a “combo” bothers some of the team members. A combo is identified as someone who does both hair and makeup. As Crystal said, “You can’t be both.” Michiko is determined to prove them wrong.
On the next episode, Crystal may have a fashion disaster on her hands when she doesn’t have the proper outfit in selected sizes for rappers Jermaine Dupri and Nelly.
To get your fashion fix, tune in to ‘House of Glam’ every Tuesday at 10 pm on the Oxygen Network.
