Spin Your Business’ Web

So you think you have everything you need to make your business a success. The business plan is done, you have your investors and your entrepreneurial idea is getting ready to earn its keep. Or is it? Is everything that makes a small business a big business checked off on your list?

One major tool that a lot of small businesses tend to overlook is the power of the web. There are a lot of components that go into weaving the network over your business. First, being a website, every business should have a 24/7 accessibility outlet for all of your consumers. By creating a website, it allows your consumers to have unlimited access to your product and or information about the service you offer, without ever leaving their comfort zone.

Times have changed since your grandparents started their businesses. In today’s age, almost everything has gone digital. So, now you have to join the race of technology’s marathon. After you have created your website, add the link to your business card template, be sure to leave space to add more web links.

In addition to a professional looking web site, the next idea to create additional web presence for your business is to start a blog. Almost everyone has a personal blog; your job is to create a blog about your business. Your blog can be used for multiple reasons including introducing your product or providing readers with news and current events in your industry. Because there are so many blog sites on the web, the key to separating yourself from the rest, is to update the posts daily.

You are on your way to conquering the web, but you have to keep spinning. Many new entrepreneurs take to Twitter to further distribute their messages and increase their brand awareness. While this may seem like an easy thing to do, this can get a little tricky. The best tip is to keep it very professional, only post tweets that are business related and progressive for your company. This is just another method for developing a better relationship with your current and prospective consumers.

In addition, to creating your website, blog and twitter account, be sure to develop a Facebook page for your company as well. This provides a way for consumers to get a more visual look of your company and the people behind it. Post pictures of various company events, pictures of people using your product and your staff. You can also sync your Twitter and Blog feeds with programs like RSS Graffiti and Twitter Feed so that Facebook becomes your online portal.

You now have the beginner’s tools to expand a more effective web presence for your business. Add all your new web links to your business card and hit the ground running. Keep your website updated at all times, post on your blog daily and continually send engaging posts tn your Twitter account.
