When most artists are concerned about being trendsetters Sye Spence is more concerned about being herself and producing exceptional music that has elements of pop, rock, opera, and orchestra.

Everything about Sye  is unique. From her name and  way of thinking to her music. She grew up as an only child with a large imagination. Instead of going outside and playing with the other children Sye spent time inside writing and entertaining herself with music and poetry.

She spent countless hours listening to Michael Jackson, Liza Minnelli, and her personal musical inspiration, Kate Bush. By listening and studying their work, she created a musical foundation. At a young age, her mother bought her a small keyboard and without any formal lessons, Sye taught herself to play and began composing music at the age of eight.

She takes the music making process very seriously. While creating her debut EP Mad Mad World, Sye completely withdrew from  everything and everyone. Locking herself in her mother’s attic, her time was spent communicating with her inner thoughts and ideas. During this time she reached deep within herself and to bring her audience a true reflection of her life experiences and inner beauty.

Currently, Sye is preparing for the release of her debut EP, “Mad Mad World” on August 28, 2010. This EP is inclusive of five power house tracks that by the time you finish listening it will have you thinking you can achieve anything.

Obtaining fame is not the goal for Sye Spence, becoming legendary is the objective. Creating long lasting music that encourages love and positivity is what drive Sye Spence to continue to create good music. With these motivations, Sye is most certainly On the Rise.
