Before W Magazine could release the cover name for its July issue, “Music and Style,” images of the covers were leaked to the public. The covers showcase the fierce Beyoncé and the fabulous Christina Aguilera. Beyoncé is beautifully dressed in fall 2011 Louis Vuitton and Christina Aguilera is posing nude while holding a bouquet of flowers.
While both covers are amazing and this is full of great images and content, I still wonder if they will see an increase in sales with this issue and issues to come.
There have been a lot of rumors that because W Magazine (like many other print publications) had some disappointing sales due to the economic times, this cover leak may be a publicity stunt. But, will this leak cause fashionistas to grab this much anticipated issue or are days of running to the magazine stand for a new issue of our favorite fashion magazines over?
