Z Spoke by Zac Posen at New York Fashion Week

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is huge this year. Especially since the big tent has moved from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center. Lincoln Center is well known for the arts and it is the perfect place to host fashion week, because fashion is art.

One show that I had the pleasure to go under the tent to see was Z Spoke by Zac Posen Spring/Summer 2011 collection. This show was filled with everyone who is anyone from Kimora Lee Simmons, Russell Simmons, Estelle and many others.

Each piece in his collection was filled with appropriate colors for the spring and summer months with ruffles and floral prints. Military inspiration will still be in, so Z spoke had a  fabulous military inspired jacket with matching pants.

Also cocktail dresses, rompers and jumpsuits were apart of the collection. Z Spoke featured a flan silk plaid jumpsuit and a fruit cocktail print jumpsuit that is a must have for the season. Each piece going down the runway was paired with Z Spoke Bag and shoes and Yuz Bukey for Z Spoke accessories.

Even though a model fell on the runway, the show was still spectacular and the collection was phenomenal.
